General Raiding Rules (submitted by monolithwow at 09:49pm EST) I. Raid Schedule Sun 7:00pm – 12am Mon 8:00pm – 12am Tue Off Night Wed 8:00pm – 12am Thu 8:00pm – 12am Fri Free Day Sat Free Day Sun - Thur Raids are tracked for attendance. When raids become full, the Guild Message of the Day will be changed to “Officer has the List. NO TELL NO LIST.” You must be available to raid when you are up on the list to recieve full credit for attending that raid. While generally invites from list go in order received, the officers and raid leader have the final say in who gets invited to an open spot. This could be determined by current raid make-up, next raid target, or a change in raid strategy for example. II. Guild Rankings In game guild ranks reflect current attendance status of our members. Reviewed and adjusted on a weekly basis, this ranking is used to assist officers in determining loot designees and invite order. Veteran – Considered a Full-time Raider. Full-time is defined as having 80% or better attendance in the past 30 days. Member – Considered a Part-time Raider. Part-time is defined as having 60-79% attendance in the past 30 days. Inactive – Members who raid very little or not at all. Inactive members are last in line for raid invites and loot priority, even after Trial members. Trial – New members of the guild. Friends/Family (formerly Initiate) -- Exists for our non-raiding members and has no impact on raid or loot decisions. Attendance is tracked here: http://www.monolithwow.com/EQDKP2/eqdkp ... tabase.%20 III. Raid Expectations So you want to raid with us? Here are some thing you need to do first: 1. Keep us informed a. Either post your set schedule so we know what days to NOT expect you b. Or, post in the Real Life / OOC Forum if you are going to be absent or late This helps us determine raid targets and allows for adjustments if in case we are going to be short tanks, healers, or AoE for example we can take on a boss that will still allow us to raid despite your absence. 2. Be prepared a. Be fully repaired b. Be at raid zone in at raid time (don’t rely on summons); invites will start 15 minutes prior to raid time to ensure that we pull on time. c. Bring appropriate consumables and regents i. See your class forums for what is considered “appropriate” (Tank, DPS, Caster, Healing) d. Be in Ventrillo i. At least so you can listen, it isn’t required that you talk in Vent just that you can hear ii. Hostname: atlanta3.nationvoice.com port: 3919 speak to an officer for the password e. Have required MODs installed i. Omen ii. Some sort of Damage meter (Recount or Violation) iii. Some sort of Boss Mod (Big Wigs or Deadly Boss Mods) 3. Stay focused a. AFK – while we like to keep AFKs to a minimum, you must let and officer know know you are going AFK, and too many missed Ready Checks may cause you to be removed from raid for someone that has less distractions b. Raid Chat – Read it, and pay attention. Avoid spam and try and keep lengthy non-raid related conversations to tells, class channels and private channels. Nothing wrong with a little joking around however. 4. Be respectful When people make mistakes or don’t know something don’t beat them up. Well at least not too much hehe. We play this game for recreation, but some of us have different levels of passion for it. Keep that in mind. Do your best to help a person out, but if you feel they are beyond help, let an officer know. People who do not show proper respect to guildmates will eventually be asked or forced to leave. We can’t always make you like each other, but we can make you respect each other. IV. Loot Procedures Loot is distributed via an officer call-out system. Meaning loot is distributed by offices as they see fit. Officers will use certain criteria in determining loot designees. Attendance, Last loot received, Total number of loots received, Best upgrade, Best interest of the guild and Player attitude are all factors officers use in determining who gets loot. If all else fails, and it is of equal and fair benefit to those in consideration, we’ll call for a roll off. Being fair about loot is very serious business for officers of Monolith. Be assured, we try very hard to make the right decision each time. A. 10 Man Instances – Loot is not tracked or figured in to the decision process in 25 man raids. 10 Man loots are randomed for, however Main’s get priority over Alts. This also applies to tradeskill recipes that drop in Karazhan. B. Tradeskill Recipes – when a recipe drops in a 25 man raid crafters with Veteran status and 375 in the skill will random for the recipe. If no Veteran wants or needs it will be opened up to General Members. C. Raid Level Crafting Reagents – Will be distributed by the officer staff, based on those that have requested the item, and those that have gathered the remaining mats to use the item.
